Salwa has published her research in many international scientific journals, she frequently writes for the Australian Artist Magazine and has been published in the International Contemorary Artists Series. Here are some of the many issues containg her Australian Artist articles and her inclusion in ICA Volume IX.

Issue 274 April 2007 Salwa was a featured Artist and wrote an article "Nocturnal Seascape" included many examples of her paintings including a demonstration of her painting techniques.	Issue 279 April 2007 Plein air painting from the drought affected area of the Lachlan River. In this article Salwa explains the development of a selection of her paintings from the plein air study to the completed studio version.
Issue 291 September 2008 An article (Going with the Flow) about blessings, problems and challenges of plein air painting of the Kanimbla Valley that she experienced with 5 other female artist . Examples of the plein air paintings and the finished studio version of the paintings have been included.	Issue 301 July 2009 Painting the inner world of figure showing visual expression and body language. This included many tips and step by step demonstration of her painting process.
Issue 319 January 2011 The first exhibition of the Plein Air Girls group on page 34. Salwa is a co-founder and a member of the group. In this article 10 of the members wrote about their plein air experience and contributed two photos of their plein air paintings.	Issue 335 May 2012 Review of the Plein Air Girls art exhibition at the Shoalhaven City Art Centre in 2012 and their journey as a female artist painting from nature.
Issue 349 September 2012 Salwa is featured in an article about the Red Cross charity art exhibition (Art for Humanity). Twelve other well known artist (painters) took part in this exhibition. The exhibition was opened by Terence Maloon (former senior curator of The Art Gallery of NSW) and was organised by Irene Thom and Sally Thompson.
